The joy of no longer being a homeowner

We sold our house today. We moved about 9 months ago to a little town near Colorado Springs, and we left our house in Golden in the hands of renters, and trusting that it would eventually sell. After a deal fell threw in the fall the day before closing, I had lost hope that we would ever sell this house. Today we sold our house, and while there is a little piece of me that feels sad about our first home no longer being ours, we feel relieved and ready for whatever lays ahead. We feel like we have the freedom to go wherever it is we are supposed to go. Maybe we stay here, maybe we move across the country. The tricky part is who will hire my wonderful husband?
