Last week, I tried to find the perfect baby gate. I didn't realize how expensive a piece of plastic could be. So, I got the cheapest one, made out of wood that I thought would do the trick. Well, of course, it didn't. So in the mean time Hazel has figured out how to climb the stairs. By the time I get around to getting another gate that works properly, she will probably have figured out how to go down the stairs.
Did I mention that our pumpkin weighs 40 lbs? I was at Safeway last week and they had a pumpkin for sale that is the same size as the one we grew. It was $60!! If I wasn't so attached our pumpkin I might try to make a little bit of money.
